Welcome to DIET Dhemaji

District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) is a district level educational institution that provides academic and resource support to educational development at elementary level. DIETs were envisioned in the National Policy of Education 1986. The main objective of established DIETs in every district of states of India is to provide academic and resource supports at grassroots level for the success of various strategies and programmes being undertaken in the area of elementary education and adult education.

All programmes of pre-service and in-service teacher education and training of adult education, non formal education, personnel in the DIET would be design as to train the teacher / instructor in transacting curriculum, keeping the learner at the center of the teaching learning process.
